It was a game of firsts tonight – the first goals of the season for Alex Colangelo and Andre Mondoux, including Colangelo’s first career goal. Colangelo didn’t stop at one, though… he added two more plus an assist to propel the Panthers to a 6-2 win over the Lindsay Muskies. Pickering played a solid game and finally found the net, scoring pretty goals and playing solid defence. Zennon Edwards (11) and Owen Dunning (13) added singles before Colangelo potted his third, an empty-net goal, with five seconds remaining. Jason Zhou had a four-point night, and Ian Michelone was outstanding in net, making 27 saves and recording his seventh win of the season.

The Panthers are on the road Thursday night in Caledon and then back home in the Den Friday night, Nov. 29, at 7:30 p.m. to meet the Haliburton Huskies. The win tonight pulled Pickering into a tie for seventh place with the Muskies.
