MONDAY DEC 4 – PICKERING 4 COBOURG 3
The Panthers headed down the road to Cobourg tonight to take on the Cougars and returned with 2 big points as a result of their win over the Cougars. The Cats did well to only concede a PP goal in the first, as they were outshot 10-4. Pickering found their legs in the second as the top line again took over the game. Ben Pickell was sent in all alone to score his 17th of the season and then Nick Athanasakos added a pair to give the Panthers a 3-1 lead. Kieran Litterick made it 4-1 but the Cougars added another before the period ended.
The Panthers held their ground in the third until the Cougars got one back in the final minute of play to make it a 4-3 final score. Ethan Beattie played well in net making 26 saves to earn his 5th win of the season.
