SATURDAY DEC 9 – HALIBURTON 3 PICKERING 2
This was a “character” loss, where the Panthers clawed their way back from a two goal deficit to make it a very close contest. After being badly outshot in the first (13-4), the boys rallied and goals by Joey Zhang (PP) and Joey Crngarov pulled Pickering even seven minutes into the third. The tie was sort-lived, however, as the Huskies scored the winning goal on a screened shot one minute later. Ethan Beattie took the loss making 30 saves.
