FRIDAY FEB 9 – COBOURG 10 PICKERING 5
Pickering suffered their 6th consecutive loss, this time to the Cobourg Cougars and the remainder of their games don’t get easier as they continue to face top playoff-bound teams. The only bright spot of the game for the Panthers was a hat trick for Kieran Litterick. He now has 21 on the season and has scored 6 goals in the last 5 games. Additional goals came from a blue line blast from Daud Musaev and a tap in from Charlie Key.
All five of the Pickering goals were scored on the power play. Both Panther goalies saw action as they were badly outshot 62-25.
