FRIDAY JAN 5 – LINDSAY 5 PICKERING 0

The Lindsay Muskies had their way tonight with the Panthers and their depleted lineup in a game leading up to the January 10th trade deadline.  Hunter Svicki was earlier traded to Markham for Joseph Colangelo and Dawson Hettiarachi went to Lindsay for CJ (Connor) Irwin. Both Colangelo and Irwin were in the Panther lineup without the benefit of a single practice. Also missing tonight were Ben Pickell, Jamie Darlison and Brett Connolly. Speculation is that Pickell and Darlison are headed to Trenton.

Lindsay took a 3-0 lead in the second and added two more in the third, outshooting the Panthers 39-16. Ethan Beattie made 34 saves in the Pickering net.
