A power-play goal 15 minutes into the second period was the difference in this close, hard-fought game in Milton. Both goalies put on a clinic in this one, with Ian Michelone stopping 32 shots. The Panthers were again without three regulars in the lineup — Kieran Litterick, Joey Zhang, and Andre Mondoux — but still managed to compete in a very close game against a Milton team whose defense is considered among the best in the league.

The final home game in December is on Sunday night, December 22nd, when the Panthers host the Stouffville Spirit. The Spirit are currently eight points ahead of Pickering in the East Conference standings. Pickering Mayor Kevin Ashe and Stouffville Mayor Iain Lovatt are expected to be in attendance, adding to the excitement of this crucial matchup.
