The Panthers erased a two-goal first-period deficit, scoring four unanswered goals to defeat the North York Rangers, collect two points, and extend their winning streak to six games. North York capitalized on some disjointed Pickering play early to jump out to a 2-0 lead after the opening frame.

Pickering responded in the second as Ryder Dagenais scored his eighth of the season just over a minute into the period. Jonathan Cirone followed with his seventh, and Hayden Shaw added his third to give the Panthers a 3-2 lead heading into the second intermission.

Newcomer Jack Dean made an immediate impact early in the third, scoring his sixth of the season and first as a Panther just 33 seconds in. That goal proved to be the difference, as the Rangers managed one more midway through the period, but could get no closer. Daniel Giusti earned his tenth win of the season, stopping 22 shots in the victory.
