Panthers Now Recruiting Interns and Volunteers for the 2025–26 Season

Are you looking to gain real-world experience in the exciting world of sports and live events? The Pickering Panthers are now accepting applications for our 2025–26 internship and volunteer program!

Whether you’re an aspiring sports professional, a student in a related program, or simply a hockey fan eager to be part of something bigger, this is your chance to join the team behind the team.

Our internship and volunteer roles are unpaid, but the experience is invaluable. You’ll work alongside a dynamic staff in a live sports environment, gaining hands-on experience that complements formal education in sports management, marketing, communications, event operations, and more. These roles are a great fit for post-secondary students, recent grads, or anyone looking to break into the industry.

Current Opportunities Include:

  • Game Day Operations Manager – Lead the in-arena experience and ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

  • Content Creator – Social Media & Website – Bring the Panthers brand to life through digital storytelling and live coverage.

  • Game Day Support Staff – Help with setup, logistics, merchandise, and more on game nights.

  • Ushers – Be the face of the Panthers and ensure fans feel welcome and supported.

All positions require a strong work ethic, team-first attitude, and availability for home games at the Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex in Pickering.

If you’re ready to contribute to a fast-paced, passionate environment—and gain experience that looks great on a resume—we want to hear from you.
