The Toronto Patriots visited The Den and halted Pickering’s three-game win streak, handing the Panthers a 4-1 loss. Toronto opened the scoring seven minutes into the first, but Ryder Dagenais answered with his fifth of the season on a power play seven minutes later to tie the game. Toronto added two more before the intermission — one on the power play and another following a defensive mix-up in the Pickering zone. The Patriots outshot the Panthers 18–7 in the first period.
The Panthers fought hard to close the gap and had several chances, but couldn’t solve Nico Armellin in the Toronto net. The Patriots added one more late in the third to seal the 4-1 victory. Daniel Giusti played well in the Pickering net, making 39 saves in the loss.
