Saturday, October 11 – Haliburton Huskies 4 at Pickering Panthers 5
The Panthers traveled to Haliburton and wasted no time, as Pickering’s top line dominated the Huskies early. Charlie Key and Carter Fogarty each scored twice to make it 4-0, with Joe Cadorin adding three assists. Haliburton got one back before the first intermission, then capitalized on two Pickering penalties in the second period to narrow the score to 4-3. Newcomer Vasily Serov scored his first OJHL goal later in the frame to restore the two-goal lead.

Haliburton cut the deficit to one midway through the third, but that was as close as they would get. Pickering held on for the 5-4 victory despite being outshot 44–30. Anthony Sciere earned his fourth win of the season in net for the Panthers.

Sunday, October 12 – Newmarket Hurricanes 6 at Pickering Panthers 5 (2OT)
The following afternoon, the Newmarket Hurricanes made their first visit of the season to The Den in what proved to be a high-scoring battle. Newmarket led 3-2 at the second intermission, with Tyler Bruce and Cayden O’Hearn each scoring their second goals of the year for Pickering. Carter Fogarty notched his 10th of the season early in the third to tie it, but the Hurricanes responded with two quick goals to go up 5-3.

The Panthers pressed back as Vasily Serov scored a power-play goal on a feed from behind the net by Joe Cadorin. Serov then added another — his third goal in just two games with Pickering — to tie the game and force overtime. After a scoreless first OT, Simon Wang scored two minutes into double overtime to give Newmarket a 6-5 win. Daniel Giusti made 44 saves in the loss for Pickering.
