PICKERING, ON — The Pickering Panthers are pleased to announce the signing of goaltender Daniel Giusti for the 2025–26 OJHL season.
Born in 2007 and hailing from Ajax, ON, Giusti is a local product who brings a strong foundation and high potential to the Panthers crease. He made a name for himself during the 2023–24 season by posting the best goals-against average in the OMHA U18 division (1.30 GAA) — a performance that led to him being selected in the 15th round (#302 overall) of the 2023 OHL Priority Selection by the Ottawa 67’s.
Following that standout U18 campaign, Giusti spent last season with the Port Perry Lumberjacks of the Junior C ranks, continuing to develop his game. He then earned an invitation to the Panthers’ Rookie Camp, where he impressed the coaching staff and secured his spot on the 2025–26 roster.
“Daniel’s a local product from the Ajax-Pickering area who had a great U18 season. After a year in Junior C, he came to our Rookie Camp and earned his spot,” said Panthers General Manager Sean Meyers. “We’re excited to have him in Pickering and continue developing his game.”
