The Pickering Panthers are proud to congratulate former Panther Josh Brady on his selection to Team Canada East for the 2025 World Junior A Challenge, taking place Dec. 7–13 in Trois-Rivières, Québec. Brady, now a member of the Trenton Golden Hawks, earned national attention through his outstanding play in the OJHL—much of which came during his time in Pickering.
While with the Panthers earlier this season, Brady posted an impressive 27 points in 19 games (6 goals, 21 assists), along with 18 penalty minutes and 1 game-winning goal. His strong two-way play, puck movement, and consistency made him one of the league’s most impactful defensemen and helped solidify his place among the CJHL’s top Junior A talents.
Brady is one of 10 OJHL players selected to represent Canada East, a roster drawn from the CJHL’s five eastern leagues. The tournament brings together elite Junior A athletes from across the country and abroad, offering a rare opportunity to compete on the international stage.
The Pickering Panthers extend their congratulations to Josh and wish him the very best as he represents the OJHL and Canada in Trois-Rivières.
