SEPTEMBER 6 2024 – PANTHERS DROP HOME OPENER 6-3
It was a close game for two periods in the season opener, but the Panthers surrendered three unanswered goals in the third period to drop a 6-3 decision to the Toronto Jr Canadians. Quinn Binnie got the first Panther goal of the season in the first with Blake Wright and Zennon Edwards adding two more in the second. The third period opened tied up at three.
A couple of giveaways and two power play goals contributed to the loss. Despite the score, Ethan Bettie was strong in the net as Toronto outshot Pickering 51-23.
